Sophie Kershaw unit 4

 I have completed this pre-production action plan so that I have a baseline of when to start completing each part of the pre-production, while also giving myself a checklist so nothing gets missed, to I stay on track. It's also to provide cast and crew members with the dates that they will need so they know when they'll be working. While creating my action plan, I thought about the tasks I'd have to complete, and then put them in order of what needs completing first to what gets completed last (numbers 1-23) When putting in the dates, I excluded any weeks/ weekends where we were unable to film. This plan will make the whole production process smoother as it's organised, in order, with dates, lengths of time, whether it's sequential or parallel, what each task is dependent on, and all members know what's happening at any given time.

 I have completed this pre-production activity in order in order to gather my ideas in terms of genre, plot, characters and location. I firstly decided what genre I wanted to do, then came up with the plot and decided what location and characters to have. By doing this, I've made my production plans more organised, and it's something I can refer back to ensure I'm staying on track in terms of genre and plot while making other decisions throughout the production process such as script drafting.
